Moving Mountains homeschoolers meets at a camp in Hebron for children from first to twelfth grade as of fall 2025. We meet once a week for classes for approximately 2 hours plus unstructured time afterwards and the camp provides PE/REC activities. Contact us for the day and time.
Our fall 2025-26 parent-led offering includes:
-
PE (all ages, divided)
-
ART/ARTIST STUDY (4th-8th grade)
-
US GEOGRAPHY (4th-8th grade)
-
SCIENCE (1st-3rd, 4th-8th)
-
SHAKESPEARE (4th-8th)
-
FORENSIC SCIENCE (high school)
-
APOLOGETICS (high school, using this course)
-
Play group for 5 and under with some light structure for Kindergarteners
- Afterwards, there’s unstructured free play including roller blading, scooters, outdoor play such as sledding in winter, field games, gaga ball and swimming in the warmer months.
The rate for the overhead/access to the camp and activities run by the camp is $143 per child (1st-12th) for the entire year including a $3 administrative fee per person and $48 per child ages 4-5. Payments are made directly to the camp (EFA eligible) and this fee is what covers the homeschool enrichment they offer including camp PE like rock climbing, challenge course, canoeing, high school PE with rec staff 1st-8th grade Bible club (fun camp games, music and a short lesson followed by PE games once every 6 weeks, optional). The camp takes EFA. Full year payment is required in September and enrollment will be closing soon.
Fill out the Google form and we'll let you know if there's space for your kids ages and we'll send you the registration link.
This cost may go up or down each year depending on how much of the camp we need to use and what activities etc. the camp offers.
Parents are required to stay and volunteer for at least 3 (30 minute) periods 1-2 times per month (assisting in a class or free play/games/PE time, bringing supplies, cleaning, etc.
Because we meet at a Christian camp welcoming participants from all denominations, the co-op may choose some materials to teach from a Christian worldview. The Bible club is open to all but optional. We welcome co-op participants from a variety of backgrounds who are ok being part of a Christian homeschool co-op. Prior to your first week, all families must fill out camp release form, co-op release form and co-op student handbook.
